Date: Sunday, December 11 Text: Luke 1:46-55 Synopsis: If Mary’s song teaches us anything it is that we are to be drawn into God’s plan for redemption. If God can use a teenage girl to give birth to the Messiah, then I believe that he certainly wants to use us as well.
Here is what we need to know. In order to enter a new life we have to let go. We have to let go of what has always been and embrace the new life Christ has for us.
Date: Sunday, November 27 Text: Matthew 24:36-44 Synopsis: May we not just embrace his first coming and may we not only be ready for his 2nd coming, but may we be ready for his presence and his kingdom to break into our everyday life so that we can agents for his mission.
Date: Sunday, November 20 Text: Jeremiah 23:1-6; John 10:11-18 Synopsis: While the children of Israel were in exile they had identity problems. I believe that for us today, when “all is NOT well” in our lives we can easily forget our identity. We can forget that we are indeed children of God.
